Forms on smartphone screen sizes can be tedious, especially if people forget to fill out a required input field. Today they find out about a missing input field after they want to submit the form. In our case, we're using a call to action button. If there's an input field with missing content, a call to action button is displayed. It takes the person to the appropriate input field to enter the missing data.

When working on an app that people are going to use when they are on the go, attention is required on how the users will navigate the product and take critical actions. A common solution is using buttons, but that requires extra effort, especially when on a large smartphone. For the iOS app called Audiosume, we decided to rely on gestures.
A person using the app has to learn about the gestures, and for that reason, we introduced a solution called Learn UI. First-time users (and those that don't use the app frequently) can use buttons. For regular users that already rely on gestures, the app progressively removes any visible UI to reduce the affordance of taping.

Deleting content is a critical action that often requires an additional confirmation action. In the Challenger iOS app, we created an alternative UI solution for deleting content. It eliminates the need to make the extra confirmation step and, at the same time, prevents users from deleting content accidentally.
